英文要約Title: Establishment and Validation of the Base for 3D Design & Additive Manufacturing Standing on the Concepts of Anisotropy & Customization (FY2014-FY2018) FY2017 Annual Report.

・We succeeded the world’s first additive manufacturing(AM) of anisotropic custom boon plate for Ti alloy. In addition, the built condition for realizing AM of highly heat-resistant materils with both shape and material controls was established. Futhermore, we successfully achieved AM with continuous control of isotorpic and anisotropic materials in gas turbine fixed wings of Ni-based heat-resistant alloy.

・Advanced veterinary consortium was founded in Osaka Prefecture University as a site for economic demonstration of anisotropic custom implant.

・We achieved the development of thermoelectric device a year ahead of schedule by emhansing its performance by 70 % based on the improvement of crystalline anisotropy in comparison with a conventional one.The mounting of the developed anisotropic custom thermoelectric device on amusement equipment as well as temperature control elements for optical communication laser diode module was determined and its commercialization is schduled in next fiscal year.

・We established a method for analyzing a novel value by focusing on minority opinions that anticipate increasingly diverse user needs and developed a tool for assisting product planning. The effectiveness of the tool was verified based on the examples of its utilization by daily commodities manufacturing companies.

・Test-use of level set-based topology optimization program (Nishiwaki lab. in Kyoto Univ.) for companies was carried out in the Technology Research Institute of Osaka Prefecture to verify the effectives from the viewpoint of practical use against the conventional one.
