1. The design environment for leaf design / leaf module design, aimed at shortening design time and improving design quality. Based on the requirement definition document, the library utility development was carried out, and the prototype version was completed. Specification design and coding for automatic generation of pads, pad stacks, footprints, packages, parts, etc. were done, and whether the requirements definition was satisfied or not was verified. In addition, review and evaluation of requirement definition for utility creation was done in cooperation with Toshiba Electronic Devices & Storage Corporation, SUSUBOX Corporation, and The University of Tokyo.

Results of shortening the design preparation time (FY2017 Result).
By using the developed "parts creation utility", "net list creation utility" and the design flow assumed for MAKERS, it was possible to reduce the number of parts library creation and net list creation man-hours by 70%.
In FY2018, we aim to reduce man-hours by 90% by examining the operation method to reuse "parts library", "design specification library", "DRC / MRC library".

Research and development items.

1. Development of parts creation utility and net list creation utility.
2. Establishment of Trillion-node consortium(provisional name) and support for preparation of evaluation kit.
3. The promotion video of developed New CAD for MAKERS.
