R&D Overview
Research and development on the following three in pursuit of the creation of the IoT security monitoring service market using the IoT gateway.
(1) Organization of social implementation expansion scenarios
(2) Research and development of SOC interfacing technology
(3) Research and development on use in combination with whitelist type technology

1. Organization of social implementation expansion scenarios
In this R&D, the scenarios for expanding the applicable scope of social implementation are organized and the position of each R&D item in above (2) and (3) is clarified.
In 2017, the expansion scenario is organized into the following three forms.
(1) Individual application
(2) System integration
(3) Service utilization
Also, based on the three scenarios above, the technology development road map is summarized.

2. Research and development of SOC interfacing technology
In this R&D, research and development items necessary for SOC collaboration considering application to important infrastructures are promoted in order to realize IoT security monitoring service.
In 2017, extraction of tasks, formulation of resolution policy, and planning of problem solving plan were implemented. As a result of the extraction of tasks, the following three issues were identified as the main tasks.
- Operational cooperation with existing systems
- Improvement of GW security level
- Enhancement of configuration variations
For the next year, a plan to implement the solution was developed.

3. Research and development on use in combination with whitelist type technology
In this R&D, in order to realize the IoT security monitoring service, research and development items necessary for a combination of machine learning type and whitelist type considering application to important infrastructures are promoted.
In 2017, the features and tasks of combined use of each type are organized. As a result of the organization, combination forms to be realized are clarified.
