1.1. Economic and technology study for practical stage
(1) Technical study for the compensation of the fluctuation by the renewable energy
Technical feasibility of the power fluctuation compensation system, consisted of collaborative control system, storage batteries, electrolyzers, and hydrogen mixed-combustion engine generators was shown by the simulation with the Power output data of the Wakkanai mega-solar plant and the Wind power plant of water service department.

(2) Grid connection study
Potential of the power output control for the renewable energy in 2030 was studied. And the potential benefit of the power fluctuation compensation system was shown.

(3) Economic study
Economical feasiblitity for the power fluctuation compensation system in 2030 was shown by the conceptual economic study. The potential of the annual hydrogen production is about 25 million m3.

1.2. Economic and technology study for demonstration stage
(1) Development of Hydrogen and BDF mixed combustion engine
BDF component and potential availability were studied.

(2) Detail planning for utilization of Hydrogen
Potential user for the hydrogen in 2030 was studied, and we narrowed the users down to FCV and substitute for LPG.

(3) Detail study for the economic study of surplus power
We studied some reports of the working groups related with the power grid, surplus power and the renewable energy.
