英文要約For long term reliability of pulverized coal-fired boiler, it is important to predict boiler tube temperature under operation. In this development, test tubes are installed in a large scale coal combustion test facility, and detailed data such as tube temperature, gas temperature, etc. is acquired. Also, tube temperature prediction method using a numerical simulation is verified.
In the 2018 fiscal year, we carried out the following items as verification studies.

(1) Preparation of large scale coal combustion test facility
We installed the test tubes and coal flow measurement system to the test facility, and completed the verification test preparation.

(2) Combustion test using large-scale test facility
We carried out the combustion tests, and acquired data such as tube temperature, cooling water temperature, gas temperature, etc. under the baseline condition and cooling-water flow change condition.

(3) Measurement of gas and tube temperature distribution
We checked infrared camera performance in the combustion test, and confirmed that the qualitative distribution of test tube temperature could be grasped.
Moreover, we installed the high-speed gas temperature traverse measurement facility, and acquired gas temperature distribution data near the test tubes.

(4) Numerical simulation and comparison with test results
We carried out the numerical simulation on the baseline condition, and confirmed that the calculation result of maximum temperature and temperature distribution of the test tube were well in agreement with the experimental result.

(5) Information gathering of technology trends
For the investigation of the technology trend, we attended the 37th International Symposium on Combustion, and collected information of the measurement and numerical simulation technology. And, we also attended the POWER-GEN Asia 2018, and collected information of the Operation & Maintenance and Remote Monitoring trend.
