1.R&D for soundness confirmation technologies by log/traffic analyzing of INF-NW
In this R&D, a log analysis function to monitor operations of INF-NW and associated control and communication devices and identify an existence of backdoors in the target machine/device or in the aggregated facility in the network and a real time log collection function following network traffic variation and an innovative monitoring function and control function following a new capability are studied.
In 2018, the core technology of traffic monitoring and backdoors analysis was implemented completely by developing the introduction candidate system and the prospect of social implementation was obtained.

2.R&D for soundness confirmation technology by analysis of log/traffic in IoT devices
-1 R&D for soundness confirmation technology by analysis log/traffic through IoT-NW
Anomaly detection technologies for the IoT devices in IoT-NW connected with single INF-NW and with multiple INF-NW were studied.
In 2018, the introduction candidate system was developed with the aim of introducing technology to the infrastructure operators, and technical evaluations were implemented for social implementation in collaboration with them.

-2 R&D of soundness confirmation technology by IoT-GW
The following studies are carried out to realize operation monitoring and analyzing functions of IoT devices.
>Effective collection, management and statistical processing functions of traffic information needed for monitoring and analyzing
In 2018, based on the functions and performance requirements established in 2017, the introduction candidate system of IoT-GW for the infrastructure operators was developed and evaluated.

3.R&D for soundness confirmation technology by log/traffic analysis for control and communication devices
Developing innovative analysis model which is enable to integrate area specific knowledge and common knowledge in multiple areas of control systems for a critical infrastructure, and continuously evolving operation monitoring and analysis technologies were studied.
In 2018, "Control NW Sensor Technology and Inter-Network Integrated Analysis Technology", which are the core technologies of monitoring and analysis, were implemented completly, and evaluated.

4.R&D for soundness confirmation technology for cloud system as infrastructure of dynamic map platform
In this theme, research and development necessary for realizing "security of cloud system as infrastructure of dynamic map platform" has been advanced.
In 2018, the study of security architecture and security interface for practical use of the security requirements defined last year was completed. Also, verification and evaluation of the usefulness has been completed in the prototype system.
