This study is carried out in order to develop evidence-based care model by using multimodal human interaction technology.
We have following six deliveries in this phase along with two themes (1.Common theme 2.Demonstration experiment theme)
1) Common theme(e.g. Strategy, negotiation results and key issues for the future)
1-1. Define "Care x AI" strategy based on the understanding the current R&D situation in the nursing care market.
- Build a social care network with AI-enabled cameras
- Formulate human interaction skills, which is tacit knowledge so far, as explicit knowledge
- Construct evidence-based nursing care model, and expand it including foreign market penetration
1-2,3. Negotiate with three local government, Fukuoka,Kawasaki and Tsushima-shi, for the preparation of Demonstration experiment in FY2019.
1-4. Summarize issues about following 3 topics.
- Can we use the output data of Demonstration experiment at a certain local government when we want to expand our products in the future―
- Can we use movies or any kinds of data of nursing care if we are under GDPR(General Data Protection Regulation)・br>- What kind of issues should we consider when we develop a product for Adult Guardian・br>2) Demonstration experiment theme
2-1. Build a concept for multimodal corpus of self-reliance support and develop an alpha version product which has two features;
- A)Analyzing movie of the way of walking by AI B) Professionals(e.g. Nurse/Care giver) can evaluate "walking" parameters and advise walkers about how to avoid a risk of fall
2-2. Define the concept for understanding the conditions of "care-receivers" and the way of intervention for them
- Start investigation of multimodal IoT platform with the cooperation of "Care Home Kouhou-en"
- gathering nursing care data at "Kouhou-en", and discussing with WG members in order to define a specification of both hardware/software used in multimodal IoT platform.
2-3. Define the concept for understanding the conditions of "care-givers" and the way of intervention for them
- Feasibility study of some functions which are required for on-line training(e.g. Humanitude , rehabilitation etc.)
2-4 Community building and cross media communication for nursing care with AI solutions
- Working group(WG)/Work shop(WS) activities were launched
- Making free paper for accelerating understanding of dementia
