Obtaining and use of personal information

The New Energy and Industrial Technology Development Organization (hereinafter referred to as "NEDO") may obtain and use the personal information registered by the NEDO booth users when they visit CEATEC 2023 through the Exhibitor Details (NEDO).

Purpose of use

Personal information may be used for statistical data processed to preclude identification of a specific individual.
On the other hand, to respond to the questions or inquiries received from users through the NEDO booth, the personal information may be used to convey the content of questions or inquiries to the exhibiting companies and organizations at the NEDO booth, or to contact the users themselves.

Scope of use

Personal information obtained through the Exhibitor Details (NEDO) will be used within the scope of the purpose of use and will in no event be provided to any third party other than NEDO, except in cases where:

• provision thereof is required by laws and regulations;
• it should be disclosed to the public and NEDO obtains the consent of the user in question; or
• it is provided within the scope of the purpose of use to any business consignee which has entered into a confidentiality agreement with NEDO

Management of personal information

NEDO will strictly manage the personal information obtained through the Exhibitor Details (NEDO) and take necessary measures to prevent risks such as loss, leakage, abuse, or falsification of or unauthorized access to the personal information.

Disclosure, correction, suspension of use

NEDO will promptly respond to the requests from the user for disclosure, correction, or suspension of use of his/her personal information obtained through the Exhibitor Details (NEDO).
