Project overview

Project period: FY2015 to FY2019, FY2019 budget: JPY 3.91 billion

This project has two goals: basic research involving the research and development of core technology for next-generation artificial intelligence and robots, and social implementation aimed at the utilization of next-generation artificial intelligence technology to resolve social issues. The purpose of the basic research is to create top-level, globally competitive, and de facto technologies that serve as a foundation for industrial competitiveness, with the aim of achieving results that impact the world at large not only when this project ends but also afterward.
