Driven by the urgent need to address climate change through sustainable industrial practices, biomanufacturing has gained significant global attention. miibio, Inc. is expanding its mii-Bioprocess —a proprietary technology that leverages light to control production processes, providing a highly effective and scalable solution for mass-scale biomanufacturing.
Research Outline
The goal of this R&D project is to increase the production yield of target substances. To achieve this, we will develop the switching performance of the foundational photoswitchable smart cells, develop resistant strains tailored to the target substances, and undertake the development and construction of a pilot plant.
