About Application for Participating in the Tokyo Waterfront City Area Field Operational Test (through simulation) for Strategic Innovation Promotion Program (SIP) Phase Two - Automated Driving (Expansion of Systems and Services) (Building a safety evaluation environment in Virtual Space)

The New Energy and Industrial Technology Development Organization (hereinafter referred to as "NEDO") recruits participants in the Tokyo Waterfront City Area Field Operational Test (through simulation) for Strategic Innovation Promotion Program (SIP) Phase Two - Automated Driving (Expansion of Systems and Services) (Building a safety evaluation environment in Virtual Space).

Please read the attached Application Guidelines. Please fill out necessary info. on the dedicated application form in the dedicated website (via the dedicated link) as indicated below. Applicants will receive an email about participation from the Secretariat in response.

Please note that submitting an application does not obligate nor guarantee participation in the Field Operational Test depending upon screening results.

Participants shall be either of automobile manufacturers, suppliers, vendors of related systems and tools, institutions such as universities, research institutions involved in research and development of automated driving technologies or certification organizations, at home and abroad; and, agree to the "Rules for Participation in the Tokyo Waterfront City Area Field Operational Test (through simulation)" (separately attached).
