NEDO Participates in Japan-Israel Festival

NEDO participated in the Japan-Israel Festival, led by the Japanese Ministry of Economy, Trade and Industry and the Israeli Ministry of Economy and Industry, which was held from January 14-16, 2019.

At the plenary meeting of the Japan-Israel Innovation Network (JIIN) held in Jerusalem on January 15, NEDO reported on the results and future activities of the Co-funding Program for Joint International R&D Projects, which NEDO and the Israel Innovation Authority (IIA) are supporting in an effort to promote joint R&D projects involving companies from both countries. In addition, at the Japan-Israel Business Forum held in the afternoon of the same day, NEDO Executive Director Takashi Omote and IIA Senior Director Avi Luvton made a joint presentation to the large number of forum participants from both countries which emphasized the close partnership between NEDO and IIA.
