Prince Constantijn of the Netherlands Visits NEDO Exhibit

From January 30 to February 1, 2019, NEDO organized an exhibit at "nano tech 2019" held at the Tokyo Big Sight international exhibition hall. On January 30, His Royal Highness Prince Constantijn of the Netherlands visited the exhibition and observed the displays at the NEDO exhibit.

Prince Constantijn visited the exhibition in his capacity as the Special Envoy to the Netherlands StartupDelta program. At the NEDO exhibit, he was introduced to NEDO’s activities to support startup ventures by NEDO Executive Director Masayoshi Watanabe and they exchanged various opinions on the current efforts each country is making to support startups. In addition, the Prince viewed the displays at the NEDO exhibit concerning its activities on artificial photosynthesis and cellulose nanofibers with considerable interest and listened intently to the explanations provided by Executive Director Watanabe and NEDO Technology Strategy Center Executive Director Tomoji Kawai, who also serves as the Chairman of the nano tech Executive Committee.
