NEDO Chairman Meets Permanent Secretary and Delegation from Thai Ministry of Industry

On June 13, 2019, Permanent Secretary Dr. Pasu Loharjun of the Thai Ministry of Industry (MOI) led an MOI delegation which visited NEDO's head office in Kawasaki. The MOI delegation met with NEDO Chairman Hiroaki Ishizuka and NEDO Executive Director Shoji Kukita.

NEDO has maintained an overseas office in Bangkok since 1993, and is carrying out demonstration projects in collaboration with MOI and other Thai government agencies.

During the meeting, the two sides welcomed the deepening of the cooperative relationship between Japan and Thailand through demonstration projects and other activities being carried out by NEDO and MOI. Furthermore, the two sides confirmed their intent to cooperate in the promotion of future demonstration projects in the environmental field.
