NEDO Chairman Meets with State Secretary of German Federal Ministry for Economic Affairs and Energy

On June 17, 2019, NEDO Chairman Hiroaki Ishizuka met with State Secretary Andreas Feicht of the German Federal Ministry for Economic Affairs and Energy during the State Secretary's visit to Japan.

With the common goal of formulating countermeasures to address global warming, Chairman Ishizuka and State Secretary Feicht exchanged views at the meeting mainly on the utilization of hydrogen. Japan and Germany are both placing emphasis on research and development related to hydrogen, and the two sides confirmed the importance of deepening mutual understanding while complementing each other's efforts.
