June 19, 2019

For three days from June 14 to 16, 2019, NEDO collaborated on the G20 Innovation Exhibition outdoor event held concurrently with the G20 Ministerial Meeting on Energy Transitions and Global Environment for Sustainable Growth in the town of Karuizawa, Nagano Prefecture. At this event, organized by the Japanese government to exhibit advanced Japanese technologies in the fields of energy and the environment, NEDO collaborated under the category of innovation on exhibits of technologies related to the capture, utilization (such as methanation and artificial photosynthesis), and storage of CO2. In addition, under the category of hydrogen energy, NEDO collaborated on exhibits using models, video displays, and other means to publicize the results of activities such as a hydrogen energy system in Fukushima.
