NEDO Holds "HONGO AI 2019"

On October 2, 2019, in line with its efforts to promote research and development by AI startups and support the implementation of AI technologies in society, NEDO, together with the HONGO AI office, held the “HONGO AI 2019” final selection and awards ceremony to recognize outstanding early-stage AI startups.

From among “fourteen HONGO AI AWARD-winning startups” previously selected through an application screening and interview process, the HONGO AI selection committee conducted its final screening and selected the recipients of “HONGO AI BEST AWARD” and the Ministry of Economy, Trade and Industry (METI) Industrial Science and Technology Policy and Environment Bureau Director-General Award.

In addition, awards from each of the corporate sponsors were also presented. Further information regarding the award recipients may be found on the HONGO AI website.
