NEDO Festa in Kansai 2019 Held in Osaka

For two days on December 17-18, 2019, the NEDO Festa in Kansai 2019 event was held at the Grand Front OSAKA Knowledge Capital Congres Convention Center.

By providing information regarding its diverse activities to event participants from industry, academia, and government, NEDO aims to contribute to the creation of new innovations and collaborations on its projects.

Various activities took place during the event, including a keynote speech by Kyoto University Distinguished Professor KITAGAWA Susumu, seminars on NEDO research and development efforts, and briefings on the results of NEDO projects. In addition, pitch contests, business briefings, and individual consultation sessions were held for up-and-coming startups. Many people attended the event, including representatives of industry, academia, and government.

At the exhibition portion of the event, NEDO introduced national projects under its management. Company and university representatives introduced R&D activities and products related to advanced technologies realized under NEDO projects, and lively discussions also took place with visitors to the exhibition.
