NEDO Holds FY2019 “TSC Foresight” Special Seminar

On February 14, 2020, NEDO held the FY2019 “TSC Foresight” Special Seminar at Iino Hall and Conference Center in Tokyo.

In the seminar, NEDO defined “3 Essential Social Systems for Sustainable Society” and established a symbol to represent these systems, and also released them. In addition, NEDO has formulated “Comprehensive R&D Principles for Sustainable Society 2020 (the NEDO’s principle)” which provide guidelines for unified and organic promotion of these three social systems and future technology development activities to address climate change.

This time, NEDO introduced the “3 Essential Social Systems for Sustainable Society” and the symbol representing these systems, and also provided a presentation regarding its  “Comprehensive R&D Principles for Sustainable Society 2020.”  Through these NEDO presentations and speeches by experts representing various fields, the seminar conveyed important messages on topics such as promising directions for addressing climate change.
