NEDO Executive Director Meets President of King Abdulaziz City for Science and Technology (KACST) of Saudi Arabia

On October 7, 2022, NEDO Executive Director WADA Takashi met with H.E Dr. Munir M. Eldesouki, President of King Abdulaziz City for Science and Technology (KACST),* Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, at NEDO’s Head Office in Kawasaki.

During the meeting, NEDO introduced the Green Innovation Fund program and described its international activities. To realize carbon neutrality at an early date, the two sides discussed potential cooperation in a wide range of fields such as green energy production of hydrogen and ammonia as well as carbon recycling technologies such as CCS and CCUS.

NEDO and KACST agreed to continue their dialogue in an effort to identify areas for future technological collaboration.
