NEDO Chairman Meets with CEO of Austrian Research Promotion Agency (FFG)

On October 26, 2022, NEDO Chairman ISHIZUKA Hiroaki met with Dr. Henrietta Egerth, CEO of the Austrian Research Promotion Agency (FFG).

During the meeting, NEDO introduced its various activities and explained its role in Japan’s Green Innovation Strategy. FFG also introduced its activities, including its scheme to promote international joint research projects and its program to support startup ventures. In response, NEDO Executive Director WADA Takashi introduced NEDO programs in support of startups.

The two sides confirmed the importance of international collaborations and therefore agreed to continue a dialogue on opportunities for cooperation.
