NEDO Signs Letter of Intent with Department of Agriculture and Rural Development (DARD) of Tien Giang Province, Vietnam, on Energy Conservation Demonstration Project

On November 3, 2022, NEDO and the Department of Agriculture and Rural Development (DARD) of the People's Committee of Tien Giang Province in Vietnam held a signing ceremony regarding cooperation on a demonstration project in the field of energy conservation.

To establish a cooperative relationship for the joint Demonstration Project on Enhancement of Energy Saving Shrimp Aquaculture System with Biomass from Local Products to be carried out by the Vietnamese company Tuan Hien Aquaculture Co., Ltd., and the Japanese company Yuko-Keiso Co., Ltd., Director Nguyen Van Man of DARD and Director General YURUGI Yoshiko of NEDO signed a letter of intent (LOI) in the presence of Nguyen Van Vinh, Chairman of the People's Committee of Tien Giang Province, Vietnam, and WADA Takashi, Executive Director of NEDO.

By signing this LOI, DARD and NEDO have agreed they will work together to provide support for this demonstration project.
