Winners Selected for NEDO Supply Chain Data Challenge, First NEDO Competition Offering Monetary Prizes

On December 12, 2022, the final round of the NEDO Supply Chain Data Challenge, the first NEDO competition offering monetary prizes, was held in Nihonbashi, Tokyo. The purpose of the competition is to recognize noteworthy efforts related to the development and verification of monitoring systems utilizing satellites that contribute to fast and flexible integration of supply chain data.

In this final round of pitch presentations, awards totaling 37.8 million yen were presented to winners selected from among the 20 projects that had already passed a preliminary screening conducted in May 2022.

In addition to the above awards, the Japanese astronaut MOHRI Mamoru presented a special award, the Tellus Challenge Prize.

As the final round of the competition was live-streamed with simultaneous English interpretation, achievements realized by competition participants were publicized to the entire world.
