NEDO Executive Director YUMITORI Attends "LOI/MOU Signing and Exchange Ceremony" between the Republic of the Philippines and Japan

On February 10, NEDO Executive Director YUMITORI Shuji attended "WITNESS SIGNING OF LETTERS OF INTENT/AGREEMENTS (LOI/MOU signing/exchange ceremony)" between the Republic of the Philippines and Japan.
NEDO exchanged an MOU with Bases Conversion and Development Authority (BCDA) of the Republic of the Philippines for the "Demonstration Project of Smart Mobility for the Transformation of Energy Consumption Behavior (Philippines)."
His Excellency Ferdinand R. Marcos, Jr., President of the Republic of the Philippines, key ministers and business leaders of the Philippines, Japanese government officials, and representatives of Japanese companies attended the ceremony.

This project aims to demonstrate a new transportation system that utilizes transportation cloud systems, EV buses, smart poles, etc., in the rapidly developing Clark area, located in the central part of the Republic of the Philippines, to realize a highly convenient and energy-saving transportation system.
Zenmov Co., Ltd., which received a grant from NEDO, plans to start the project in cooperation with MC Metro Transport Operation Inc., a local company in the Philippines.
