NEDO and GNS Science Exchange Views on Supercritical Geothermal Power Generation

At the end of November Executive Director Iimura welcomed Peter Benfell, the General Manager of Science and Commercial Operations at New Zealand government-affiliated research organization GNS Science, to NEDO Kawasaki headquarters for an exchange of views on supercritical geothermal power generation technology.

The meeting came a few weeks after NEDO staff’s visit to GNS Science’s research institute in New Zealand. Executive Director Iimura and General Manager Benfell discussed the deepening ties between NEDO and GNS Science and confirmed that both organizations will continue to cooperate in the future.
