Japan participated in the 2025 Hydrogen & Fuel Cell Seminar as a Country Sponsor and exhibited at Japan Pavilion

At the 2025 Hydrogen & Fuel Cell Seminar held in Long Beach, California, NEDO, in collaboration with the Japanese Hydrogen Association (JH2A), the Japan Hydrogen Forum (JH2F), and the Japan External Trade Organization (JETRO), serves as a Country Sponsor and are highlighting Japan’s hydrogen technologies at the Japan Pavilion, alongside 22 Japanese companies.

During the seminar’s plenary sessions, Dr. Iimura, Executive Director of NEDO delivered a keynote speech, outlining Japan's hydrogen policy trends and the advancements in hydrogen technology driven by NEDO initiatives, which includes developments in hydrogen production, storage, transport, and utilization. She also underscored the critical role of hydrogen in building a global low-carbon energy system.

NEDO will continue to promote hydrogen technology development in cooperation with the United States and other countries to achieve a hydrogen-powered society.
