Discussions Held with Air Liquide of France

On April 1, 2026, Mr. SAITO Tamotsu, Chairman of NEDO, and Mr. YOKOSHIMA Naohiko, President of NEDO, met with Mr. François Jackow, CEO of Air Liquide, France, and other members of the company’s executive management team.
During the meeting, the participants exchanged views on the current status of hydrogen use and the challenges it faces in France, Europe as a whole, and Japan. They confirmed a shared desire to continue cooperating in the field of hydrogen.
NEDO reaffirmed its commitment to comprehensive efforts toward the realization of a hydrogen-based society in Japan through R&D and demonstration projects.
