Discussion between NEDO and NITI Aayog, India

On March 11, 2026, Mr. YOKOSHIMA Naohiko, President of NEDO, visited the National Institution for Transforming India (NITI Aayog) and held discussions with Mr. Suman Bery, Vice Chairperson of NITI Aayog, and Dr. Vijay Kumar Saraswat, Member of NITI Aayog. During the meeting, they welcomed the success of the Japan–India Mobility Summit 2026, which was jointly organized by NEDO and NITI Aayog on March 9. In addition, they discussed technology areas with potential for bilateral cooperation, including the energy sector. They also discussed deepening collaboration between companies in Japan and India from research and development through to commercialization, as well as the roles and contributions NEDO could make in this process.
