NEDO and MoHEST Indonesia Hold Discussion

On April 1, 2026, Mr. YOKOSHIMA Naohiko, President of NEDO, and Dr. KISHIMOTO Kikuo, Executive Director of NEDO, held discussions with a delegation of the Ministry of Higher Education, Science and Technology (MoHEST), the Republic of Indonesia, led by H.E. Brian Yuliarto, Minister of Higher Education, Science and Technology. During the meeting, the two sides reaffirmed the strategic partnership between Japan and Indonesia and exchanged views on how the strengths of both countries could be leveraged for collaboration. The two sides discussed environmental issues and waste management challenges in Indonesia, and considered potential avenues for future cooperation.
