For the purpose of sharing information on technology trends and promoting exchanges between Japanese and Spanish companies, NEDO and the Spanish government’s Centre for the Development of Industrial Technology (CDTI), with whom NEDO has concluded a technical cooperation agreement, annually organize a joint workshop on a topic of mutual interest.

The 11th Joint Workshop, entitled “Technologies for Hydrogen Valleys in Spain and Japan - Regional H2 Value Chain,” will be held in the Japanese city of Kofu in Yamanashi Prefecture. The workshop will feature presentations made by representatives of Japanese and Spanish organizations/companies, including the Spanish Hydrogen Association, regarding hydrogen power-related technologies. At the conclusion of the workshop, a business matching session will take place between Japanese and Spanish companies.

Schedule

January 24, 2023

  • Workshop presentations: 9:00am-4:00pm (reception opening at 8:30am)
  • Business matching session: 5:00pm-6:30pm
  • *To prevent the spread of COVID-19, temperature checks will be conducted, and hand disinfectant will be provided at the entrance of the hotel. Persons with a body temperature of 37.5 degrees Celsius or higher will not be able to participate.

Business matching session

NEDO has arranged a matching session so Spanish businesses coming to Japan can explore business opportunities with Japanese companies. Each company participating in this session will have 15 minutes to meet with a maximum of six companies. Nine Spanish companies will be seated at individual tables in Togen Hall located on the 2nd floor, and Japanese companies will be invited to visit the tables of Spanish companies according to the session program. Session programs will be provided to the relevant Japanese companies by Friday, January 20.

Please note that no more than two persons per company/organization will be allowed to participate and applications will no longer be accepted when the maximum number of participants (50 persons on first-come, first-served basis) is reached.
